Default Some Info needed if your kind enough!

Hey guys,

Long story short.. im planning on getting a DEX410R.. in the next month or so.
I have a fellow 1/8th racing buddy, who has the DEX410 and wiped the floor in stability with my B44 a while back. And im now looking at getting a DEX410-and the R seems a sensible route.. with it being more of a winter toy/2nd class.

What are any (Needs) for the buggy R version... I hear the Alu hinge pin holders are good to use-stronger.. ect...
And that replacing stock ballcups with RPM too-Stonger and stops thread jumping.

Are there any other things.. to help it I want to keep costs to a minimum on it.. I have my eye on a DEX410R on bay hardly used with Alu holders..
So just wanting some advice from you Durango experts! thanks a lot guys

sorry for the annoying questions!

All I've found the need to upgrade are the alloy hinge pin holders and the shock boots. Everything else is standard and thats probably how I'll keep it

Pretty much what I have ordered on mine.

I ordered the rear skid weight, but not sure if it's money well spent yet as I haven't run the car yet.

Um.. well grant's ages ago when still had my B44- Durango was a lot more planted and stable.. in comparison. And looked over at his a fair bit and talked about it. Briefly seen tony's just after he got it.. Do like the B44 for parts support, but been there done that as they say haha.. Ok.. will try come down when I can. Currently have a busy few weeks ahead at uni. Plus got loads of track work ect at Clanfield.. so got some work parties soon.. as well..

Quick question-Has anyone found a place to securely mount the new Harry transponder clip? Im trading my old AMB for a Harry-and x2 clips 1 for my 1/8th and 1 for my 410R. Wondering where if possible is the best place to mount the clip? I don't want to have to hook and loop it down. Then have to peel it off to mount it into the 808... any ideas.. Im still waiting to trade it in, and get the harry ect.. and my rx.. to do some test fitments. Was wondering if anyone has tried it or not? cheers guys

Yeah got a used DE410R.. with Alu side guards ect.. and some arms ect.. ordered plastic side guards too..and few bits.

Um Im not sure, I may do it myself.. for the time being.. he's got anoter 808 shell and b44 one-lol not much use to me anymore haha

He's busy, moving into his new work space and has a lot of shells to do. So may get my 808 and a durwango over to him next month.. but think will do one for now..will see will try speak to him later!

Jamie the plastic sides have a nice transponder mount. With the ally sides I got a small piece of lexan and put the screw through it which hold down the right hand side lipo battery mount. That was for an original transponder not a Harry. I have seen people use the MRT clone and mount this on top of the steering servo as it is so small and the Harry is similar in size I think.

It would do, if I spent more time on it.. which.. bores me.. plus I needed room to mount down the harry clip. As the harry will be going from this to leccy a lot.. so need a good place.. Still need to tidy the wires up ect.. but that will be for a rainy day..
Reason RX is on its side is
1. Easier to plug in harry ect
2.Protect it even more from the elements like water ect-Yes I will blue tac it but helps more that way..its the SR3100
