Default Nosram Pearl Evolution ISTC Spec esc any good?

Just wondering if this esc would be any good for off road use in my b4.1, seems like a good spec for not too much money at £128.

Brilliant ESC. Its the same as the very popular LRP SXX TC, except in red and a lot cheaper.
Actually its a bit over the top for a 2wd car, for which the base model Pearl is more than adequate, but since the higher spec ISTC version is current cheaper it makes sense to get the better one!
You'll need a sensor lead to connect it to your new Losi motor.

i love mine. been faultless and turns my 4.5 pure nosram motor no problems. also a bonus with the fan as its that cramped in my pred x10 the fan keep air flowing over it

jsut a shame my nimh cells go flat after 2 mins (time for some nice fat lipo me thinks!)

Just changed to these from the GTB's I was running...much much nicer!

The GTB was like an on/off swtich (just too puncy with the newest lipo's, brushless motors and my untrained fingers/thumbs) compared to the nosram which has great feel to it.

And at that price (cheers jespares) it's awesome value for money

oh jsut dont run these down to cutoff buy the way. i emailed nosram and they told me the lipo cutoff for voltage on the esc is set at 5.9volts (beause like anything in the manual it does not tell you what the voltages and amp limits are on each setting)

hi.i use a nosram istc in my b4.1 with a speed passion v3 7.5 motor.i can only use mode one setting because the amount of power it produces.the fan will fit on top of the esc and still fit under the shell.this setup runs so cool.and so fast

Looking at these again for my Durango DEX410R, slightly smaller footprint etc.

It's replace the Speed Passion GT which would move into the Cougar SV and essentially the LPF would be sold
