Default New PT

Don't you wish your PT was much smaller and stealthy? So how about half the size and weighing less than a normal AMB PT?
The new PTX is all these and more too! It can be fitted easily in any car, even in micro or mini scale cars!!

The new PTX is the lastest advanced transponder design from MRT. It has a very low current draw, can operate down to around 2.7V (so no power related lap counting problems) and weighs less than a normal PT. It will work with both the AMBrc and new AMBrc3 systems. Anywhere you can use an AMB PT you can use a PTX.

It has a case with or without mounting tabs and a power lead that can be adjusted or replaced when required, it's also 100% waterproof and fuel proof.

The best thing is it will be available for anyone, to those with or without an AMB PT and at a very affordable price. For an additional fee a cloned number option is also available so you can keep your exisiting number if you want.

The PTX is currently in final development.. more details to follow when available!

Thing is, they are actually very good.

I love panninis on those things, heres my recipe:

Italian cibatta bread.
Mozerlla cheese.
Tomatoes.
Salad.
Basil.

Take the bread, lay cheese on it, slice your tomatoes, and put them on with the salad, Add the basil to the bread, and put on the top half off the ciabatta. Then stick it in your lean mean fat reducing grilling machine for about 5 - 10 mins.

Yum

Sounds very QVC-ish.

To be honest, I am quite happy with the size and weight of my AMB PT, its never really been something I have thought and now you ask.... im happy still.

BUT, what this is good for is competition! If MRT can compete against AMB rather than just say "Bring us an AMB and we'll clone it" then there is a good chance many of us will favour MRT as there price will be considerably lower. Once AMB realise sales have plummeted then we have a price war, or atleast no more extortionate prices for something we can only get from one company.

Only small issue, MRT are late in doing this, many of us have AMB PT's and have no reason to change.... such as me.

Having read all about this on another forum, MRT are looking to price this at 1/2 the cost of an AMB PT.

These new PT's will actually have 10 numbers stored in them and if a duplication occurs you could/can change it for one of the other 9. Also if you already have a PT this can be cloned in aswell

if one of your amb fails (amb have a crap repair service mine just needed a new wire, thier responce buy a new amb!) or you want two with same number in each car then they are the answer
