I think when he was on TG last year and James May was with him, they mention that he practiced on the air field. In most of the vid's i've seen, he puts it under the trailer. That did look like real vid and not the game though ?

Why would a rally car driver have such a... umm... stupid... training routine? I am not saying it is not a fact that he drove under the truck trailer, I am just saying that even though they said so in Top Gear, I really doubt he would train that way.
