Default What shock oil and pinion?

Hello! what shock oil and pinion should i use in my new rb5a?
Im going to use Novak or lrp 6.5.

Probably the best people to answer that would be the other racers at your track. Is your track bumpy or smooth? Astro or grass? Is it tight and twisty or open and fast? It's factors like this that determine your set up. Tell us a little more about where you race and you should get some pretty good suggestions.

i have novak 6.5 ran 17t still ran very cool

at the moment i am running a 7.5r and still can gear up to a 21T, and motor runs cool enough to hold can for 5 seconds after the race.

So you could run anything from a 16t to 20T depending on your track.

The only thing I have to say is if there is a good Losi driver at your club then copy his set up as mine is getting better the nearer I get to there cars. Including brass bulk head.

My track is build for 1:8 4wd offroad and i pretty big with many groups. Made of dirt. I know one whos have drive EM with his losi xxxcr i could ask him of his setup if its almost the same as rb5 Thanks for fast answers
