This may be a daft question but here goes:
I have a Novak 13.5 with adjustable timing, and a Speed Passion GT 2.0 with programmable timing. The motor timing is Neutral at 30 deg. and the ESC starts at 0 deg. What is the true timing if the motor is parked at 30 and the ESC is at 0? Is the programming intervals on the ESC + degrees over the set timing of the motor? Curious? ![]() |

30' timing. total timing=motor timing + esc timing

That's what I suspected, so thanks for the clarification DCM. I was a little unsure because I noticed that the Speed Passion 3.0 Comp. motors start at 0' timing and are adjustable to 15' so I thought the Novak at 30' might be too high to start adjusting timing via the ESC.
