Hello Bungleaio (isnt that a gypsy kings song?)
No i made a new post (including the rear antispin locating groovey thing....durango owners know what i am on about!) from delrin so it looks like a kit item.....but it is further in to the body . i have seen a few durango's with the rear body mount hole ripped off because its very close to the edge of the shell....and i hate painting new shells for nothing so i made this straight away before the shell was run.
you see you cannot just space the mount in further because the shell dips lower straight after the mount so it would raise the body ( look rubbish)so mine sorts this and is very ergonomic
if you want one pm me
cheers Scott

PS . takes2home your body looks like its made of wood....cool though ....what colour is that!

The centre shafts are the durango option ali ones (light cause i race mostly stock) they are realy nice and also as most durango parts, very cheap
mine look production but i have done the rear pin mod ( i think much better than team durango ) by double grub screwing the pin in, then taking a new diff plastic outdrive tube that the gator goes on, and cut the flanged end off then pushed it over the shaft and pin and its a perfect firm fit, then i used the small rear gator off the hub carrier end to cover the tube.
and it looks the same as all the rest of the shafts on the car with no chance of loseing the pin....i did this front and rear
the tubes come on a sprew with the f & r diff casings+ the hooped diff casing holders all for £3.90 very cheap and the gators were very cheap also
hope this makes sense and helps

and remember where you saw these tips first

it is a mixture of gold black and orange ( 3 different spray can)with a spunge i molded the color, then i sand down the outside of the body to eliminate the shiny.
I like your body post and the personal weight.. The body it remindes me "ceramic" cool especially the front window frame......i like it.

Yep, makes perfect sense, although I've not had any problems with mine so far, touch wood

Not sure if I saw it on oOple or not but I read somewhere that some was producing a slightly larger bodyshell for the Durango. I've managed to just get everything inside the chassis but can't fit the body shell on. It's very tight but my electrics I guess are not as small as others. I've installed:

Losi Xcelorin Speedo, Futaba 2.4GHz Rx and Reedy Saddle Pack LiPo.

Does anyone know of that company who do the bigger shell?

Thanks.

Thanks for that, looks good. I like the aero tweaks used on the undertray, nice touch. Seems to have much more space at the front so should fit no problem. Also like the felcro along the side edges which should help keep the larger particles out of the chassis.

Thanks for the link

Do you know who will be distributing it for the UK so I can get my local model shop to stock it?

I am from Sweden so I can buy it from their ebay store but I think you guys have another option like this: http://www.dms-racing.com/

I think the undertray is its best feature. Then the looks and space.

Just found the site, I've ordered from RC Mart before so I'll keep an eye out for when they are available.

What do you think about East Coast Bodies version with the front wing? Bodyshell looks no different but does that front wing really work? Is it legal?

Here's mine. First paint job ever. Like to keep it simple, not so much into flames n stuff. Crappy cell phone pictures though. First run today as well, what a car!
