Depends on the type of titanium used, but as a general rule titanium is soft, and unsuitable as a material for pinions as it does not like being a bearing surface.

Modern aerospace titanium is harder and stronger than the stuff we use, but it is not yet commercially available at a price we could afford to make parts from.

I'd also like to support those who are recommending Jon Guest. I have no idea if the old management are involved in this new venture, but I have always found Jon as good as his word, and very hardworking - he organised the Seniors event a couple of years back and it was excellent. Good luck with the new venture Stadler!

i have to admit i have fallen foul of TIR's postage and promises, but i know John Guest well, and he can be trusted, so he has my vote and suport

Thanks to all for your support. I'll do my darndest to supply everyone on time. I'm slowly building up the stock, but I'm now waiting on suppliers (don't they piss you off)

Hi John, when you get yourself sorted, gimme a bell as I'd still like to stock TiR stuff, the touring car chassis balance kit being a must.
