Looking for some suggestions on what LIPO to get for an SC10 running a 10.5 brushless and LRP Sphere.
Currently it's got a butchered Trakpower Saddle Lipo which is ok for messing around but not really ideal for racing so I want to invest in a decent (ideally legal) Lipo. I've been looking today and was wondering whether the extra cash for one of the LRP/Nosram 5900 Lipos is worth it over say the Vampire Lipos. .The Intellect ones appeal but if you end up getting stung for Duty from HK then the cost saving is completely gone. I can only really afford 1 so was thinking of getting a decent C rated 5000+ one really...Anyone got any suggestions? |

I've had lots of things from Hk recently and it's all got here without any problems in around a week! Failing that the Trakpower 3200 stick packs from Jespares are only £30 each. Two of those is less than the price of one of the pricer one's.

My logic was to get the biggest bang for my buck as the motor is fairly tame - or are high spec cells wasted on a milder motor

I've used Dinball and Ukrc. Both are very similar and I've had no problems with either.
I only use ~8.5t motors, I have 40c vampires and 50c Intellects of which I can't tell any difference. I used to use 30c Demons and they felt the same to me too. Maybe on a 5.5t I would notice a difference as the faster motor would be able to draw the extra current available from the higher rated packs??
