Recommend me a budget metal geared servo....

Looking to finish off my B44 build with a well priced metal geared servo.......any recommendations?........I'd also appreciate anyone's thoughts on whether I really need a digital servo or not? Are they worth the extra wedge?

• What do I need to look out for in a servo to ensure it will fit onto a B44?
• What's the advantage of a digital servo? Is it just a bit faster?
• Is a non-digital servo called an "analogue" servo?

In my opinion, you have to set your own budget. One thing I've learned over the years is that when you scrimp on electronics you more often than not find yourself caught out.

• Measure the area you're looking to fit it into. many kit's instruction manuals suggest a size, but your b44 should accept any servo listed for a 1/10th (standard sized) application

std size servo's fit a B44 no problems.

I'd be tempted to get a secondhand KO (2123 if you can). Should come for £40ish, but as with most things (there are exceptions...) you pay for what you get.

Get a Bluebird 621mg only about £23 and really fast with quite abit of torque aswell.
