Having trouble here too, a bit too fiddly. Got it in and it dosen't rotate or move easily but it did a little when I applied a little pressure with a small screw driver.
Only got one clip so its going in. Not a great bit of design this bit otherwise all good. |

its not a worry and is exactly the same as the cat sx, as long as you build it right it give many hours of trouble free racing, and is a simple neat idea that works just fine,

2.5mm is an odd diff ball size

I very much doubt you can use 3/32. I have checked in this diff, but did once look into it for the touring car diffs and it wasn't possible then - and there doesn't feel like there is enough side movement to allow for a smaller ball.
2.5mm isn't hugely odd - and it's a Schumacher part. As well as some other aftermarket diff ball sellers that i've seen.

I found a very cheep circlip plier (approx $3) and opened it up slowly so that the space was 4.5mm as stated in the attached paper.
Then carefully fitted it in one side at a time. The hardest part was in the beginning and the clip flew away a few times Then I took a transparent plastic bag and wrapped it over the diff and my hand so it couldn't go very far Take your time. This is an important step while building. Happy racing! /j0pp3 (RC-newbie) |

.tried stretching, but still loose, will order another.I have to say altho some may think this is a great design, im not sure myself, To me good design is simple and effective, and easy for people of all abilitys to build...At the min my B4 is safe

no problems here either, as ive not got the pliers for these, so i started the one end of the clip and just rotated it around working it down into the groove with a strong needle in the leading hole. never had a problem yet and that is after 4 meetings.
