Default Non threaded Shocks & Spacers

How big a spacers do people put in the rear shocks. I have none in the front, but have a choice for the rear. I am running a bumpy track so was going to use the larger "B" (about 3mm) spacer on the outside at the rear and nothing inside, anything less and the shaft hits the top of the shock case. Does this sound ok?

Thanks

Dave

It shouldn't hit. Sounds like you have the long (1.2") shock shafts in the medium (0.9") shock bodies.

The 2WD buggy should have medium bodies in the rear and the 4WD and truck the long ones.

I don't use any spacers and nothing hits.

Avner.

Oh Dear, where do i take the 1.2" measurment from? If i measure my rear shock shaft from top to bottom it is about 2.3" and the shock body if i include the hoop to fix on to the car is about the same. Do you think i have a wrong part? The same is happening at the front, without any spacers it hits the top by about 2mm. The manual does say to use spacers in the back however
