For an example of how it should be done look at the little guy, X-Factory. Chazz or Darren will say "we're waiting for part 'x', it'll take about 'y' days". Those 'y' days later, they're back with updates. They also post advising of shipping status, customs delays etc. Basically their punters always know where they stand.

A simple statement of 'design revisions/manufacturing delays/ash cloud/the dog ate it' from a Schuey rep and an occasional update would have been nice.

Agreed, and i dont think this lack of communication between manufacturer and customer is helping sales, Not just Schumacher either.

I know 2 people that have got bored of waiting and bought a X6EC and cancelled there SX pre-order. (i know 2 isnt a great deal of people but the decisions of these could influence others)

Like you say just a little press release or comms from Schumacher would go along way, the excitement about this car was amazing and now its begining to wane! bad schumacher

My neighbour also cancelled his order for a SX2 today. Says he is missing too many meetings and with no word on when decided to jump ship.

I still have mine on order but I must admit I too would love to know when these things are going to land.

Im getting more and more tempylted to go the CR2 route and jus sell the cougar when it does finally arrive, getting bored now schumacher!

The least they could do is say.. 'sorry for the delay, we are waiting on... Hopw to have them by....'

i think ill just develope my mid rat and use that
