Default Wycombe racing free open day

Wycombe Radio control club are hosting an open event to anyone and everyone on May 1st. The open day is FREE and is intended for anyone who wants loads of practice/track time and for those that want to bring along a new comer to the sport to come and see what it's all about.

All Wycombe members have been challenged with bringing at least one new comer! A few of the Wycombe members, including myself will be making some cars available for people to try for free.

Starting at 11am going through all evening, there is Wifi, there will be a burger van with food/drinks available and then late afternoon early evening there will be a proper race meeting like we usually have on a Saturday night. We will have the freeview TV on and possibly play some music in between.

All classes welcome: Mardave, 1/18th, 1/12th, 1/10th. We will put jumps on the tracks for the buggies and take them off for the flat trackers!

Please feel free to come along and mingle, relax and try a different class or simply come and get your usual car dialed!

You don't need tables or chairs as they are all available at the club with it being a permanent venue.

i can recommend anyone who is in driving distance to pop along. Excellent purpose built facility and really friendly crowd. Their micro track layouts are awesome!

Yes, Craig is correct, we have had issues with mini pins creating excessive fluff so we prefer not to run them. Pretty much anything else works and is allowed as long as it doesn't damage the carpet. It's a permanent venue and the carpet is glued down so we have to be a little careful to make sure it lasts as you can imagine certain parts of the track gets a LOT of use. Don't let that put you off, we are a friendly bunch over at Wycombe
