Default Missing part from new mad rat kit!!!

Just started the build on my new mad rat kit and found that im missing the plastic "T-nut" part no. 125000406. Has anyone else had this problem? and how do i get in contact with ansmann about it?
Been really impressed with the build so far and i cant beleive they could produce something of this qaulity for so little cash. Then this goes and happens and spoils it.

I've built 3 of these kits and had no problems - check through the bags carefully and if it really isn't there, get onto the shop you bought it from.

it really isnt there. I always cut open each bag, pour the contents into a magnetic dish and then sort through the parts from there.

As Shannow said...go the shop or contact them about the missing part. Most retailers will supply a replacement.

You can also use this contact form to get in touch with Ansmann Directly.

http://www.ansmann.de/cms/no_cache/r...tact-form.html

If all else fails it's £2.99 for a replacement Diff Screw set from JEspares

To be honest iv bought 4 kits now and have had numerous issues. I will state that Ansmaan were good and supplied the parts immediately.

Iv had a shock bladder in the cap missing on a pre built mad rat, i only noticed when filling up with oil obviously lol.

Iv had body mounts missing (front) on one of the macnums I bought.

The usual motor plate faults on all 4 cars, originally i got supplied a better made plate for the first car and 3 sets of longer screws nuts and washers for the other cars.

Its not the cost of buying another part thats annoying (it is afterall quite cheap), its that when I buy a kit i expect everything to be there. If mine was a one off then it can be excused (everyone makes mistakes) but by the sounds of it it is a regular thing.
I managed to fix mine by DIYing another part i had from an old tamiya kit.
The kit went together really well and overall im pleased with the end result, but Ansmann need to get the basics sorted if they want these buggies to be seen frequently at meetings up and down the country.
Ill be racing it at worksop this weekend if i can get in. Does anyone know if andy From PBM carries spares for these cars?

im not denying its value, but regardless of price or manufacturer, a kit should be complete. Full stop

Duse, when you gonna give up supporting a car that lets you down week after week after week! Your like a broken record!!!! I've recovered more bits of your car from the track than anyone elses! Not to meantion watching trying to limp round on 3 wheels or 3 shocks!!!!! Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and i didnt dremel a thing on my tamiya to get my cells in.... Durango is currrent world champ so hoe the fook is it too wide???

Go rebuild your £50 car for tomorrow, lets see if you can do a full night without something falling off! If you dont manage it I say your banned from constant ansmann support!

nothing wrong with racing with 3 shocks

I was only 12 seconds slower after doing 4 minutes of the race with only 3 shocks. the front bumper is a little worse for wear though lol
