Default Speed Passion LPF

Looking at ordering one for the Cougar anyone else running the LPF? I don't want to spend GT money as it'll be running an 8.5

I was in same situation. Just bought a 120a Hobbywing xerun speedo and 8.5t motor off ebay for £106 delivered- basically the gt pro and a new motor (both sensored) for not a lot of money. Perfect for when my cougar gets here

BRCA legal?

I've already got motors as I use the new V3 connectors.

I'll have a look into it further..

not the same as a speed passion? I just brought a LPF and I trought is the
same speedo just rebached with SP name, they use the same LCD programing
box and firmware (maybe the latest firmware is wrote to work with SP only),

Also the mamba pro at 125 is a good option also.

the specs are all different , the LPF is 80A cont. and 440A burst, the model that comes close to this one is 60A cont. and 360A burst plus its 20g heavier than the SP , so cannot be rebadged unless they just pop a lead weight inside

I'll stick with Speed Passion, rather than a cheap knock off..

regards to specs, hobbywing do do a 120a speedo that is sensored called the Xerun (not Ezrun) and has continuous 120a or 720a burst (same as gt pro)

Sorry, I ment Xrun :http://www.hobbywing.com/english/Art...?ArticleID=455

maybe not the same specs or quality!

These are OEM direct from factory, with no fancy colors, team
drivers developing the product or much support I think.

Well, I ran a lpf in my b44 with 7.5 indoors and it was fine! Your 8.5 in a 2wd should be fine :-)

hope this helps!!

I also run mine with a 7.5 indoors and it goes really well. I just put my 5.5 back in and it's absolutely mental lol

Well Xerun and GT/LPF are basically the same - Hobbywing makes speedoes for SP. There are even guys that managed to upload SP software to Hobbywing. I just find it to be a little bit too much hassle.

I'm definitely sticking with SP as I have support from team.

I use a SP lpf in my Durango with 5.5 and 7.5 LRP X12 motors and it is great. However I am looking to get an SC10 truck for fun and messing about. I'm on a budget and have been looking at the hobbywing stuff. The Blue spirit edition 60A looks not bad for the price, less than £60. Just wondering with only 60A, what would be the motor limit, would I get away with running a 7.5 ? I know the speedpassion lpf is 80A.

I notice on the specs, it does say 5.5 for 2s lipo but I reckon that might be pushing it.
