For those of us that weren't at Worksop, it looks like battery ALONG the length of the chassis (like B4), rather than ACROSS the width of the chassis (like X6).

Could that mean an offset servo (HPI Pro 3 style), and a double bellcrank? Or just a really small servo?

Someone spill the beans!

i'm thinking the servo is mounted maybe on top of the cells, so the cells slip under the servo when installing them or maybe even facing the cells, given the depth of the front end of the car....

given the depth of the front end, it could be mounted within the front bulkhead like the durango.

cant wait to see the car and see exactly wot it is

information is power.....and those who know the setup of the cougar like to think it makes them a cut above the rest of us who don't!

I think its probably more to do with it being shown at ToyFair2010 in a few days.

why would you want the info leaked onto a forum when it could be announced at the biggest rc event of the year?

Or some sort of psychology to make people more interested? It certainly went well in the hands of all the Schuey drivers at Worksop, and Mossy was going really well (even with a hole in his hand!), but any quicker than with his B4? I don't know. The main thing it has going for it is that it is (as far as I'm aware) the first 'proper' mid engined 2wd car rather than a conversion.... All this I know and you don't bull just bores me!
