Bought a landy shell

The latest ones he's selling come unpainted which is a bonus.

I painted up my old blackfoot a while ago and it looked really cool for 5 minutes until I strapped the 3cell lipo and mamba max in the thing - instantly smashed the shell.

Kinda a beat up old truck - I think I'll do something similar with the landy - something that looks like an old heap of junk perhaps. Be a while before I have a truck to put it on tho

I will be spraying one of them 'bad boy' Axial shells soon, you really don't want to ask how much they are though

Are you talking about the metal top wide? I had a bit of a thing for those back when they were unavailable a few years back (about 9) - did they re-release them? I know the Jeep is back out but I don't recall the Pajero.

I do NEED one of these rc4wd things tho - I mean, I neeeeeeeeeeeeeed it.

Yeah Tamiya ReRe'd the Pajero, it was £140ish for the kit, but they've been discontinued again. But you can get the same chassis with an FJ Landcruiser though.

I'd get some Trail Doctor tyres: http://www.sdi4x4.com/

And if you want ultimate mud plugging...

The Pajero was rereleased in 2008 as a limited edition, there's still plenty of them about in Hong Kong and pretty cheap. http://www.stellamodels.net/catalog/...oducts_id=3690

A year ago they released a prebuilt and painted XB RTR version, plenty of them to be found on ebay.

As for the Land Rover, it does sound weird that RC4WD has built a whole chassis around a toy LR body, but that's what they have done. if you are into scale stuff then the place to look is scale4x4.org. There's a short review of the Gelande chassis and LR body here http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44901 (he's gone a bit overboard with the photos though!)
