We will be flying from Portugal Friday 15th to attend PetitRc Race.
Will arrive at Heathrow by 21.30, then drive to Chatham.
Im a bit concerned about the bad weather lately. How driveable are the roads from Heathrow to Chatham?any snow or ice?

Not ideal. But the English snow doesn't last long. All should be well again by next week.

On Monday our Met Office monkeys will have a better prediction for that weekend. By the time you get your luggage and car, it will be about 10-10.30; at that time of night, you should get a nice easy journey.

M25 is fine today, inspite of heavy snow flurries. This weekend looks like it could snow quite heavy, but who knows for the following weekend. From heathrow it is mainly motorway all the way so you'll be fine.

Am I correct in thinking that some pit tables and chairs I provided (sure I read that somewhere)??? If it is correct does anybody have any idea as to the size of the tables?
If not is there any limit to the table size we can bring (asking as I want to have some spare space for the Kyosho boys to have a PC & set-up station)

I heard tables are provided, but must be covered.

What set-up station are you using?

The pitting area is permanent and there is a space, chair and mains socket for every competing driver. I am not sure if the club will use the extra space upstairs or not....

Pitting space is not tight but its best to take in only what you need.I hav to say that what the club has achieved since setting up the venue is very impressive...
