Does anyone know if the
FUTABA P-CB3GR - 3GR 3 CHANNEL 40MHZ TRANSMITTER
is compatible with the 2.4 ghz modules?

no definately not the 3gr doesnot have a removeable module so cannot be changed
only futabas which can be changed from 40meg to 2.4 are 3vc 3vcs 3pk 4 pk
i can confirm this as i have both sets of radio
