think all those that raced there enjoyed it as it an undulating grass track

venue was also used to host rounds of the TTBA (Tyne Tees Buggy Association) back in the 90's

club also put on the 'Railway Classic' (think that's what it's name was) one day event at a Train/Steam fair once a year
