I dunno, it has its quality moments. Muppet complains about his own stupidity, gets owned by everyone and throws a tantrum. Then stampy rocks up and owns him. Oh, and Mark79 offers services for a fee.

c'mon guys. mk has been more than superb for me and 100% of the people i have recommended them to. You can't say fairer than refund offered by marc, so we should all put this to bed and finish this thread.
I think royal mail is the prob here and as we all know, THIS HAPPENS!!!

MK RULES !!! and has done before he helped me out

Well!!

What a total looser.

Its your fault they havent arrived not MK's dont come on here slagging them off.

We dont need to start slagging off our shops. I can name a few shops that have closed in the past 12 months or so. One thing that really pisses me off is people slagginging shops off. We cant afford to loose shops dont slag them off. Without the shops we dont have much of a sport do we.

You've got to look at the facts here. The package should have arrived Friday or Saturday and in 99% of cases it would have. But you were at the mercy of the post office. Using a courier for a very small item like a spur gear is overkill, but if that's what you needed then you should have specifically said "please send by courier" we all know the post office is a lottery, there are no guarantees. Marc did all he could, given the information he had. So it's really not fair to blame Marc. I'd bet if you had ordered elsewhere at the same time, that would have been sent the same way, and you would not have that one either, so how can Marc be to blame?

The other issue here is why jump on a forum and slag Marc off, before talking to him to explain what's happened? First thing to do would be call him and explain, see what he had to say about it.

How very dare you
Free goods/services are frowned upon up here As is getting your hand in your pocket without moaning about the price of something cheap

EDIT: Just reread your post dude, i read it as free not fee. I'm such a nugget.

its no longer like 1st class is 1-2 days its more like 3-5 days ...
If you paid for next day delivery you should have claimed a refund - special delivery is royal mail's only next day service and includes compensation for late delivery. Pretty damn good service to if you don't mind paying the extra. You can also request delivery before 9am.

As for first class, there are no guarantees regarding delivery times. Recorded is the same - just means you get proof of delivery.

Cheers,
Barry

either way I don't see this as being MK's fault. If you wanted courier you should of requested it.

I've used MK Racing previously and found them to be great

You're a bit out of order spouting off on here, you left it a bit late to place your order in my opinion anyway

Not been on the forum for a couple of days and im gutted!

Who the fuck do you think you are B4Pete coming on here and slagging off one of the most experienced racer owned shops in the RC industry.

Surely the simple fact is that you oredered your part/s last minute.com and then relied on the postal service not to let you down. And with the RM strike info being shoved down our throats in the news every 5 minutes you only have yourself to blame.

Opening a personal attack thread on here is not the way to do business, what did you expect to gain from this??

All you've achieved is making yourself look and sound like a proper bellend.

Marcs replies to your bollocks have been fair and clear but still you carried on.

I really hope you have called him to apologise.
