Just dug out grants set up for talywain which was a very bumpy/rutty track, the only difference is 30wt oil in the rear and the anti-squat 2mm rear 1mm front. Grant made the 'A' final with this set up.

If the track is really bad you might want to try moving the shocks to the back of the car haven’t try it yet but lots of the team drives recommend it for this type of track.

Ok thanks, need to cut of these diafram things, how much do you cut out? also ordering up some new 3 hole pistons.

Will try the shock mod again once I'm got a base point to work from again. Just a shame I am sorting it out with summer ending

When i started testing the SX last year, my preference was to run with the diagrams cut as i felt this removed some of the pac on the shocks. The best thing to do is try both and see what suits you. The team are all running them cut.

Do you fill the shock caps with oil too like the team associated ones or leave it as air?

No, but to be fair have never filled the Associated ends up either. I leave them as air.

Default Indoor setup minispike-slicks...

In Norway we drive with slicks at our carpets (yello minispike slicks).(touring/m-chassis drives the same day).

The grip is medium-to-high, does enyone have a setup for the cat sx with slicks??

Thanks.
Stig

Default Bury Metro

Hi, does anybody have any setup tips/sheets, from bury indoors. I struggled with the CAT SX it felt very slippy (perhaps thats the 5.5T X12?)

Any ideas for shock oils and what hole piston?

Weight or not?, I had centrally mounted 110g strip fitted from racing outdoors.

Cheers for any help

we had no weight underneath the chassis at all,a 5.5 was way to much and caused us loads of problems 6.5 or even 7.5 is fine.other than that pretty much std set up as already mentioned, and for some reason new tyres seemed better than worn this time,
