Give the guy a chance, outwardly he might have been a complete tool while he was at Ferrari, but then, he was paid to work for ferrari not F1. Besides which, it's not F1 he's in charge of... it's the FIA, as long as someone who knows what to do is in charge of F1 (hopefully not Max "Spank'em raw" Mosley ) I think he might to a pretty good job, I mean Max did for a while at least...

I say save the criticism until he actually screws up.

Yeah, right, man's a tool...

At Peugeot... 205T16 - World Rally Champion. 905 - World Sportscar Champion and Le Mans 24 hours

At Ferrari F1... hired Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher. Won Everything in that class several times, secured largest sponsorship deal in F1 ever on the condition that the company didn't have its name on the car!!

At Ferrari (CEO, road cars) - 599, 612, 458, F430, FXX Evolution, profits increased by largest amount in their history (2007) and still afloat in the recession.

...couldn't possible do anything good as head of the FIA, look at his track record... which is second to none in motorsport... and second to none as Ferrari CEO...

I'm with philpac here.

This guy will get away with anything he wants... 'cos if he can't, he'll just send his missus round to kick their butts...

"crouching tiger, hidden dragon, prancing horse..." Hhmmm... there's a connection there somewhere...
