have this 9xl copy in my 1/8th buggy a thunder tiger eb4 s2 on zippy 4800 4s lipo with xl car clamp to hold it just in case.
it runs great.
im running 15tooth,46 spur its a tab under 40mph but this motor can get hot!
5s and 6s lipo would overheat the motor in car due to the 35-40k rule with this cheaper motor
tarmac running temps are
on 4s motor temp was 163*f
mamba max was 126*f(note im running xtra caps, external bec
lipos were warm not hot

I have been running the 1900kv in an erevo as well and so far I have loved it. The mamba monster hasn't survived for more than ten minutes but this motor just keeps going. Haven't had to do anything to the endbell yet but I'm sure it will surface sometime soon based on the comments of others. but the motor is great, only gets warm if you have no ventilation, so make sure to cut some holes for air to flow through the body.

The only thing that marks this motor out from new is that I filed a flat on the shaft to accept a pinion grubscrew, otherwise its like a new one.
