Pics don't seem to work mate

Oh and we kind of drifted away from one ways this year. On a tight, technical track (that most of the national ones were) the diff was at least as fast as a one way and MUCH easier to drive. However on a fast flowing track , particularly with power on corners, the one way might well be faster

Thanks for the advice. I ran on our track with both diffs yesterday and the car seemed well suited for our small-medium technical track. Perhaps a touch more exit steering would have been ideal but I have the optional steering link I haven't installed - heard it should help there.

The pics should be up now... my hosting seems to be a tad unstable this week.

About 6 months ago after 18 years i have found the way back to RC.

Initially back whith 1/10th pan car as thats where it al ended.
Soon couple off 1/12th where added.

After buying a new transmitter got in to a chat with local shop owner abbout the good old days .
As they where running off road i told him i would check it out with my old TRX-1. But reconsiderd letting him rest enjoying his pension.

So becausse shop owner let me have a snif at his X-6 i went looking for a B4 donnor.
Didnt found 1 quick enough to my likings so got a new kit together with a Square.

Kit with some topping :

Right after the build had a go at backyard track:

Finished off the Square and already feeling the love .

Hoping i will find some time this weekend so i can get back on a track for the first time in more than 18 years.

Paint scheme hopefully makes ppl aware to get away as quick as possible causse i have no clue what i'm doing or where i will be going!!!
Be warned!!!

Was a great car too, comming of the RC10 gold/black(we) tubs.
Especialy on real dirt track races he rised above them all .
But hard to setup for indoor carpet races, the Asso was more al-round to give it a name.

Not seen too many action so still in pretty decent shape, thats why i didnt want to trash it at my first go after 18years .

Will post some pics in vintage area in following days if you like.

Together with my other mistress. The X-6 is x6 times wider than the DEX but still nice.

Is there much difference between the old X5 and X5 squared bodies? Been searching high and low but cant seem to find pictures of the both!

Cheers,

The motor scoop and front ESC area are much bigger on the Squared and the older (non Squared) body is slighly sleeker on the servo side too

Cheers Darren, that leads me to my next question, do you still have the old shells in stock? Was going to get one for bashing indoors over the winter.

Thanks

New bits and pieces I take no credit for the fabrication, except the CF battery holder.

The battery posts are great, no more rubbing against the shell, and no tool needed to remove the battery!

The rear bulkhead is made of bronze (the front bulkhead aswell). Rear wishbone axles are 3mm steel axles, they will never break or bend, never ever
