How was the transition to painting on the outside and colour sanding etc? And if you dont mind me asking, what did you choose to use for clear coat and paint?

nice1 kifo - greatly appreciated, means alot mate.

strange...haha. ive done a few practice panels but this was the first time with lots of masking/re masking. i use all sorts of paint, auto air, their new autoborne, etac, hok, createx, faskolor etc. took it to the bodyshop for clearing. easy life, haha. although im currently building a new workshop so am going to get an airfed system etc i think, so i can do my own clearing. extra paper in my pocket if i dont have to pay someone else to do it.

I wondered how long it would take one of you boys to do a lid, fantastic work the eyes on the back are intense. Going to have to get my shells done by you before you stop doing RC and concentrate on helmets.. Was going to get you to do Shakey Burns helmet from last year when he won BSB the white and gold one with satrs all over it but I have never had the money one day.

Don't know about Carls lion/tiger connection lads but am very pleased with the shells that Jon has done, the photos don't do them justice. Hopefully i can keep it on it's wheels a bit more this coming season and not wreck the paintwork, one can only hope for miracles!
