Garry, i only used the xxx-cr when working on the CR2, earlier cars may work but i don't have them to check.

Right question...

Im running an xcellorin speedo and motor now the motor's have fixed advanced timing on the motor so now that im running it in reverse rotation in theory have negative Timing so to sort of counter this i can ajust it in the losi software but do i need to increase my timing to very high or decrease it to very low?

Cheers Matt could of been better.

Right then guys been sitting and thinking. Im going to dump the brass off the sides and stick with the lead under the cells 100 grams there or there abouts. Now other than that ive got about 30 grams bolted to the rear shock tower and 20 grams in the front bulkhead. Now last night i thought the car was oversteerign alot but now i think about it more and more. It wasnt really oversteering so much but on tight turns the back end would kick out. Often meaning i was left nose into the pipe. So im thinking have i not got enough weight in the front of the car so the front of the car is sort of floating a bit then as i turn the weight is fransfered a bit and suspension loads up i get alot of up pradictable steering?????? Or am i off my head??????

Think im going to copy the starting setup to the T leave the 100 grams of lead under my cells get rid of the brass side pods. and give it a go like that maybe adding some more weight to the front of the car.

Mine does that (back end swings out), so I cut some rows off my front wheels, dialed the steering down a bit and it helped. The rest is down to the thumbs for me.

All I have is 120g of lead under cells and 35g front bulkhead from GHEA.

Would be interested to know if more weight up front helped you, although I would have thought it will produce more front grip which is going make matters worse.

I can deal with the steering by just getting used to it but i just want to make the steering more consistant as sometimes its very random. On some sections of the track ive never driven a car that felt so controlable.

Depends if the nose in to the corner happened ON throttle (back stepping out) or OFF throttle (nose tucking in)

OFF throttle - Could be that the weight is not transfering fast enough so you add more steering and then it snaches in to the corner.

Try slightly less pack in the front shocks (bigger hole in piston) - this will give better weight transfer to the front off throttle

ON throttle - less pack in the rear to allow weight transfer for drive out of the corner

Get a helicopter gyro and put it between the receiver and the servo.

That way the car will automatically countersteer as soon as it feels the back stepping out - haha
