Laydees. Please put down your handbags, you should know better.

Only 6 model shops will be stocking the Durango cars and parts. Basically the ones that offer trackside support to racers in the UK.
They also offer excellent on-line service and back-up which we at Durango love...

These are: (In no particular order)

The Race Place (National Track Side Model Shop)
J.E. Spares
M.B. Models
PBM
Apex Models
MicroTech

Perhaps a specific picture thread should be started. All the other brands have one

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere before, but I couldn't find the answer. What I'd like to know is have any release dates been revealed for the reasonably priced version of new Durango buggy? What features of DEX410 will be missing from the reasonably priced version?

I might be interested in buying it if it can compete feature-wise with other cars in it's price range (Team Associated B44 for example).

From what I've heard about the quality of the components that are in the kit it is reasonably priced

I'm sure DEX410 is a top-notch car with quality components, but for me, it's not reasonably priced. Unfortunately I can't justify paying 510 euros for an RC car kit at this moment.

Because the car still certainly seems interesting, I might be willing to pay 300 euros for a "lite" version (this price range was posted earlier at this site for the cheaper version).

I don't know what are most expensive parts in DEX410 kit that make it cost more than 500 euros, but I'd like to know what's missing in the cheaper version. Also I'd like to know when it's out, so I can decide if I'll wait for it or buy some other kit that's in the price range I'm willing to pay.

I think the question Jaans is raising is valid. If you can't/don't want to pay £445, but are tempted to wait for the "R" version, what will be different on the "clubracer-level" kit? I think you've got to assume the chassis will be different (upto £100 to shave off the budget there across the 3 main parts).
My question would be will the "R" have gear diffs or not? And if I had a definite answer to this I'd be able to decide now whether to wait for its release or not.

I don't think that he means he isn't willing to pay £445, but rather that maybe he has a more limited budget than you. Besides, have you never read this post, where the 'R' spec version was announced, which I'm pretty sure is the one that jaans is refering to:

The R will have ball differentials. Everything else is still not confirmed - or at least they're not telling anyone. There's a LOT of machined alloy on this car - even various suspension hanger options that you might not use. The details on the car are what make it the price it is - worth 445 quid? you pay your money and take your choice, I think it's certainly worth it for the car - just compare it to anything else, and you can see the car has been a long time in development and has had a lot of investment.
