The main ones i can think of are :

1. Do not to set the gear mesh too loose on first build.
2. The holes in the wishbones need reaming out slightly to let them drop freely.
3. Make sure you threadlock the driveshaft grubscrews

Otherwise it builds quite well.

After building three B44's in total the only thing ive ever came across is having to check the side-to-side float on the diffs, and them shim them to reduce the float.

Make sure you check and reshim your diffs every few weeks, but other than that the B44 is a dream to build

as has already been mentioned make sure you shim the differential gear to the crown gear pretty tight, although I have never done mine any different to how the manual says.

Only other thing is to make sure everything moves freely.

Make sure you put the front hinge brace on the correct way around

The moulded front body shell mount can sometimes not fit into the whole on the top deck correctly.. watch out for this.

I don't know whether the manual mentions putting grease on the crown wheels. Get some good grease like Tamiya ceramic grease and your transmission will last a lot longer. Also don't worry if it feels a little tight at first once you've shimmed it. It loosens up after a bit.

If you haven't built Associated shocks yet make sure you feel a "click" when you insert the O-ring assembly or your shocks will dump their oil.

Other than that make sure all the suspension part drop freely under their own weight without shocks on the car. I also always replaced the top front shock bushes that attach the shock to the shock tower with the screw and plastic bushing from the B4. I always had the feeling that if the arm goes then the shock doesn't break quite as quick.

Have fun building it and use proper tools
