Default Charging receiver packs

Getting confused looking at receiver pack chargers/switch harnesses! Basically I need a receiver on/off switch and also a way to charge my receiver pack, but some advertised switches say they have charge leads too

Anyway:

1. Which channel do you plug on/off switches into?
2. What is a good lead to buy to charge the pack, all the one's I've found say they have a female plug, but surely the pack also does (as the receivers are male aren't they?)?

normally the switch goes between the battery pack and the "B" or a spare reciever channel, the charge lead feature means it has an extra leead wired in battery side, this allows you to route the lead outside the reciever box/balloon etc. so to charge you plug your pack into the extra lead and dont have to unplug anything

you just need a female lead for charging, the battery will be a male like on the end of a servo lead
