unfortunately i've tried such over here in the USA with no luck.

I did get a bite on a BC-Special, but the owner wanted too much ... in my opinion...

Try www.tamiyaclub.com and even though your not a member you can email them directly via the collectors own pages when you find the cars your after. The prices will be high as these guys are serious collectors.
