it has only just been released mate, so i very much doubt you will find a second hand one.... You will not regret getting the kit as it is so forgiving and easy to drive fast.

bbq, get yourself some extra droop towers, these save unscrewing the shock bottoms and give plenty of droop

So with the LHD and reversed speedo do the motors have any change in characteristics running the opposite way?

I am assuming the tekin esc with adjustable timing will have no affect on the reversed motor rotation in sensored mode?

I know the latest tekin 200 firmware has reverse option but

what I meant was......

does advanced speed control timing(timing boost on tekin rs) work with a motor that runs in reverse rotation?

Cos the last I heard, it will run in negative timing.

the timing boost on the tekin speed controls are a huge benefit to control spec motor class's ie. 17.5 BL

Set the timing on the endbell to 0. Then any timing you will add either in sensorless or sensored mode will be added to zero and will be positive.

However in buggy we don't run in sensoed mode but dual mode only, unless you're racing with a 9.5 or higher turn motor I advise you to run dual mode.

Back from the Euros!
The car is a amazing machine! i did my best euros, did a 17 in round 4 with three mistakes
and was looking goood until my speedo burned in round 5.
Otto from sweden did his first euros and his first run with the car at the euros and
ended up i the B-final with the cr2.

We had alot of help from Brian Preddy and he had alot of help from us i hope =)
i wish i had the chance at the Euros to try out the LHD with the idelgear that Otto
was running in his car. you can sse it in the Oople report

Now this weekend we will have the swedish championship on a clay track and i will
see how it performs there, i think it will do good

I saw this - nice idea. Only question is how would you change ratios ?

Unless I'm looking at it wrong - the centres between the pinion and the idler are fixed ( idler uses motor mount screw as fixing ) - will that not mean that the gearing is also fixed ?

That will give small changes in ratio but i've seen some guys need to change by a couple of pinions depending on track & tyre size

I'm using 22-27T pinions, not easy to adjust this precise by only changing the spur gears. Pinion adjustment comes in handy when grip levels are for instance extremely low. So maybe you could compensate the 'loss of tuning options' with the ESC settings besides changing spurs?

well we were 3 CR2 in the final but we all strugled with rear traction beond the
apex piont on the exit of the corner. it lacked drive and you hade to be soo
smooth in the begining untill you got some speed.
it was wery good going in to the turn and sliding it in, it was like driving a 4wd
but i was struggling with it on exit.

Trackconditions were super dusty bone dry, wery poor traction.
in the morning when it was damp the car was ACE and it was amazing to drive
but as son as the track dried up we strugled.

we need alot more testing on a track like this to find out what does what
and how to improve traction in the rear.

/Daniel

Ps so no one gets it wrong i still love the car and i think it is a big improvment
from the CR but the track this weekend was like driving on ice
