the B4 one won't fit, as it is designed for an imperial shaft diameter, not a metric one, could try one from a DB-01, as they are B4 style, but metric shaft.

I'm having a mare with the rear motor plate. The screws dont hold it in and I cant seem to fit longer screws and bolts as they rub against the slipper

Sounds like you both have the faulty motor plates that are out there contact the shop where purchased for replacement i got mine f.o.c. some folks have contacted ansmann directly and got one also. ive been told the correct ones a slightly darker green and that ansmann are aware of the faulty batch, since ive replaced mine been perfect.

install the screws from the motor plate side and secure with locknuts on the gearbox side, so no more rubba rubba against the slipper plates...

a B4 one will only fit, if you ream it out.... I have said it a few times, the best chance of an optional fit, would be a metric car with a B4 type slipper.

You may try the topshaft from an rb5. The tranny is the same ratio as a b4, etc. I used an rb5 topshaft in my academy gv2, and it worked with some shimming.
