Default home lap countin system

hi, could anyone tell me a cheap to make a lap countin system that i can connect to my laptop to moniter times an stuff.its for my home loft track .

Don't ask me where but there is a bit of software on the net where you can hit the number of the car and it will lap count etc, not that accurate but that's the way we did it back in the day at Ashford model car club!

lol, i really felt sorry for them when they had the 5 hr endurance races!!! blistered fingers!


Don't Orion do a personal lap counter based on infared or something?

Yes good old Terry and Clive!! Yes Orion do a lap Counter, I know Mirage are clearing out the Orion gear so worth a look on their website, was about £200 ish though! Cheaper to tap those keys!!

Spektrum has this option if you've got the telemetry set.
Look at the section Lap counter

Futaba 3GR and 3VC transmitters have a timer / stopwatch function, that is operated by a trigger switch above the right stick. you flick it with your finger when you cross the start finish line. Its in a fairly natural position.

ive ask about that 1 ryan the transponder is to big for micro, thanks for lettin me know though.will ask paul how he set hes up on sunday on when i see him
