Default long sensor lead

my sensor lead is too short! (fnaar etc)

I'm trying to install the electrics in my sc10, and the original speed passion lead is only 80mm long.

if anyone reasonably local to me has a long one knocking around, i'd gratefully buy it

Last time i was desperate to extend my lead i went along to maplins and got some pc network cable and soldered it on.

I believe its exactly the same stuff. Just strip the outer casing off and even the colours match up too.

funnily enough I was looking on maplins, and the RS components sites earlier.

I might have to try that as a last resort, though I'd rather go for a properly assembled cable. maybe i'll just bite the bullet and order one; it just means waiting a few more days to finish my sc10
