mip front CVD's
alloy motor mount
invert rear blocks on bumpy tracks
add one plastic washer on the end of the rear wishbone pins to stop the brace flying of
run a washer behind each shock fastener were they meet the wishbone to stop the ball joints falling off in a impact

All good advice - I found the front UJ's to be fine tho - much like these guys all stripping wheels, it only happens if you are a total utter maniac.

You only need the front CVD's IF you are going to put a one-way diff in the front.

Just out of interest what does this do to help with the handling on bumpy tracks?

There is also the B2 front brace mod ( http://www.4wdrc.com/techbrace.htm )and also the X-Factory Caster screw conversion ( http://www.xfactoryrc.com/news_09_27_06.htm ).

Both are supposed to strengthen the front end in an impact.

They do. Also I fancy the LCD's that losi puts out for the xxx4/xx4. They work like the U joints but are a lot stronger. You MUST build them right though or they can come apart on you at the worst time....
