Default B4 Stealth up to a B4 FT

I purchased a Stealth B4 second hand and now wondering whether I've made the wrong choice.

What I'm thinking of doing now is selling the B4 Stealth on again and getting a FT kit?

Any thoughts?

You just need threaded shocks, ti turnbuckles and the ali front brace imo. Not too many people use a full graphite car (minus chassis).

It came with the threaded shocks and I've ordered the front brace

I'll look at the turnbuckles

Im runnig a Stealth , and there is nothing wrong with it
the ft will feel no better or worse than your stealth

the only things ive bought is the rymart front and rear bulkheads as im runnig lipo

you dont have to get the Factory stuff

Lunsford do Turnbuckles
and you can get other makes of motor mounts

Big thing the FT has that the stealth hasnt is the heavy duty servo saver spring. its about 1.50
ive cut my spring down and then glued the servo saver in place.

Not really an upgrade if you glue the saver lol.

it can back off - causing understeer
the spring keeps the wheels from flopping about

Yeah, just order the HD spring, if yours is black then it's the HD already.

Mine just snaps lol, your not putting enough glue in.

BTW if you do glue your saver up make sure you have a spare in case you do break it as if the glue doesn't give the saver will, or the servo.

I'll have to strip it down and have a look. Looking at a Savox servo as I reckon my 1001 Ko Fet isn't going to work

You should be able to see from the side, never take an AE saver apart once it's built, they have a tendancy to strip easily.

Newbury indoors, Eden park raceway, Stotfold, Silverstone. There is also Faversham close by. www.dmsresults.co.uk show where the regionals are this year in the mid south.
Theres some clubs here in the South East too: http://www.edenparkraceway.com/links.htm

Think the FT I've bought is actually a Stealth with a few bits on it

the only factory team parts you really need is the threaded shocks, titanium turnbuckles, front alloy hinge pin brace and bearings all round the car so I wouldn't worry much aslong as the car you;ve bought has those main bits as the rest of the factory team car is basically identicle to the stealth version apart from a few bits of blue that are just for looks.

You don't want the carbon chassis or wishbones, shock towers etc as having the plastic all round makes the car a little for forgiving easier to drive and more flexible less likely to break as the carbon is stiffer and abit more brittle and makes the car a little twitchy to drive

What's got me is that the car was sold as an FT. Waiting for a response from the seller first etc.

Condition wise, my current stealth is in better condition
