I'm after some info please, are there any clubs close to Durham that have a well supported weekly 2WD indoor buggy class?

Im sure i have contacted you before??
The only place to race is Jarrow club Tuesday nights. 4 WD and 2 WD heats. Excellent tracks and good drivers. Tomorrow there will be a few more 2wd. Other than us there are Longbenton on Thursdays (loads of touring cars) and Gateshead fridays (tiny track!) |

Thank you for the info
![]() I have watched some of the video footage of the Jarrow club and if I'm not mistaken the surface looks like a typical slippery sports hall. Please can you give me a basic 2WD set up for the surface such as tire selection and shock oil / springing. Are you running modifieds / brushless or would this be too much power for such a slippery surface?

I use the standard setup on my B4. 35W front 30W rear. Silver springs all round seem quite good.
Mini spikes are the tyre of choice. A few more 2 wheel drives will be there than normal tonight as we are going to put more carpet down. Brushless is the way for us. Im not sure there are many left running brushed!! 6.5L in my B4. You can get the power down on the carpet sections. ![]() |

![]() I guess the softest compound Schumacher mini pins are best? I won't be sorted for tonight probably another month before I have everything ready to go. ![]() What time do the doors open?

Mini spikes, not Pins! Pins are useless on the slippy at Jarrow. Get yellow compound.
Full spikes in yellow are good but not sure what you could run on the front 2WD?? Doors open at 6.15 ish so more the merrier to set track up etc and put carpet down for 2WD. Racing starts at 7PM hopefully If you are going to come, drop a pm on Jarrow thread and somebody will book u in. Im sure its free the first time aswell! No need for Brushless really. No advantage apart from the fact you dont have to carry a lathe around to meetings with you. Hope to see you soon. ![]() |
