LRP sphere 2007 Problem

Hi everyone
Got a problem with my LRP Sphere 2007 edition fault is as follows: was working fine then lost all drive from the motor, and power light on reciever started to flash then came back on, also at the same time the reciever light was flashing the blue light and red were flashing on the sphere and then back to blue on all the time and reciever back to normal. Fitted another 5.5 to the unit and still the same problem. Have been running it on the same gearing in my xx4WE and has been fine, not overheating and heat sink cool any ideas. i think it may need to be sent off for repair anyone know where i can send it to or who i can e-mail about it.

When you changed the motor, did you change the sensor lead???

If not, that'd be the first things I'd try.

Yeh i changed the sensor wire, i connected up a novak 5.5 which workes fine on my GTB but did not work on the sphere. just connected up the 5.5 i had on the sphere when it stopped working into my gtb and works fine i think the sphere is not very well

Ok, in that case the flashing blue & red is the error code that need deciphering. I've not got the details to hand on which error this is, but perhaps Doughty has???

If You don't get anywhere with this error on here, then the speedo will probably have to go back to the importers (SMD) via the hobby shop you originally purchased the unit through (assuming it was in the UK). You'll also need the reciept.

Many thanks for help, got the speedo off the bay of life about a year ago, not got reciept but have all other paper work and org box will give it to my local model shop to see what they can do. If you manage to find out what the error code is let me know. Thanks
