Hey all, just got my tyres and inserts for the weekends racing, the rear inserts fit the tyres luvly, but the fronts, (when placed on the wheel) well, they seem a bit big somehow. Am I correct in saying I need to trim the front foam insert down a bit before gluing? anyu help as always, is greatly appreciated.

When I get inserts, I usually just get the rears and cut them in half, they fit my narrow mini spikes perfect

I thought exactly the same when my inserts arrived. I just trimmed them down to fit and the tyres went over them no probs.

I can get foams in 2wd widths, in either the snee style blue or the Losi firm compound if you are interested. At least they are all the same size and profile compared to when you cut them down.
If you are interested PM.
