yes, a multi-club championship would be cool. I'll be at batley on 15th feb, the regional and the supercup. can't make the meeting on the 1st though.

It's not a BRCA event, so it's upto the club how they play this one. Batley is usually a well and sensibly run club so I'd expect commom sense to prevail

Hopefully so, I hope to be sorted by then but its hard to imagine everyone will have their cells at that point, given stock issues etc that will likely occur when the list comes out!

My sentiments exactly.

If these truly are the only dates available from the sports center, it really is a tragedy. In these difficult times, clubs do need to work together as much as possible.

maybe silly question but why carn't the supercup be held on the 1st march rather than the 15th seem like alot of people want to attend both events me included and it would be better for both clubs so they get as much support as possible

I would disagree, there are quite a few that do batley but not bury, most of the local and younger racers who have not had a meeting all winter

And isn't the supercup one of the only profitable events the club runs due to the cost of the hall? If it was held elsewhere that could prevent the club being able to afford to run the smaller club meets.

I thought racing was all about having fun not seeing how much profit can be made?Or have i missed something?

Think you missed that point totally jez. Of course its not to make a profit - but the larger meetings subsidise the smaller ones.

I also agree that the Batley "Super Cup" is a Batley event, other club have their own single races i.e. Southport GP, Teeside Aces, the Super Cup is Batleys 1 off big winter (non regional) meeting.
