Good Memory lane thread this
Belmont School

bAD or Chevy may recall about indoors

club did run a regional on the grass outdoors at school at least once, I helped put the track together

They also had a patch of land at Belmont near a football field that was on a bank side. Used for the interteam event @ least twice I think

Cocken Lodge

the track with the clay bolders on the straight to the left of the rostrum just after it opened

Durham ran events Lambton Park, near Chester-le-Street.

Macain Sports Ground @ Scarborough, which club ran meetings there?

You can still see the concrete bank corner. Remember trying to get up there with blue full spikes on with 2wd.

RAF Elvington
I think I raced there twice.

Egress/Super Astute time.

Sheffield: Very close to Hillsborough, I think it was around the Clay Mills lane area

Rotherham: Behind the Waverley arms pub: Just off the A631 between it and the M1

Rawmarsh Leisure Centre: Cougar 2000, Kyosho Pro X, Steve West era.

Jimmi......
Lambton Park didn't get to the 1st one when there were some Yuasa cells going cheap.

car or steam engine rally
are you getting mixed up with Preston Park?
TRCC used to be there for the Fire Engine Rally and another event whose name has slipped me by @ the mo.

Reedy race in 98
found some pics on www a while back now but have seen no others

Jarrow
would need binoulars to see them as I can't make it

i think the club at the mcaine factory was something to do with p + s hobbies as they also used to run an indoor winter series at the spa on the front at scarborugh and around that time york had a track behind a school at stockton on the forest and batley had a track at the back of the hare and hounds pub in west ardsley middle to late eighties

modified rough riders and kyosho scorpions were the cars to have

hare hounds pub in west ardsley craig dreshers local track where he first started as he lived in osset 4 miles away

There used to be a club just off york road in leeds (near great clothes) which ran a big meeting every year. I cant remember what the meeting was though.

Anyone else remember this?
