Pred has to be the worst I have ever driven. Too fragile, and not fantastic on bumpy tracks. Its even worse than the Tamiya Falcon and that was as fragile as china.

2wd has got to be the Fabiix converted schumacher which had no steering at all, and worst thing was i had no choice but to run it as i was sponsered by them. Still i did make Brian Kinwald laugh when he came over to talk to me at the British Grand Prix.

My Top Force Evolution was the worst car ever.

It used to destroy spur gears and pinions on a regular basis.

worst-

4wd - a dodgy bosscat, but i think it was the condition it was in when i got it more than the car itself....and I actually liked the YZ10!

2wd - got to try some more before i decide

TC - Kyosho TF4 and the pred dtm.

I loved the Topforce/manta ray. I got many good results at my local club with mine....back in the day!
And only got through 1 lot of spurs.

At the risk of sounding rude I think it might have been the way you built them.

I've had both the Pred (actually most preds) and the MR4-TC (and the BC come to that) and never had the problems you listed!!!!!

Bit like the fact that 80% or so of 1/10th racers use and love the B4 and you think it's an absolute pig and nearly packed up because of it?

Have a word!! the Tamiya Falcon was awesome

I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned the Top Models Hybrid, that thing was pants!! (RPM RC10 basically, but a much narrower rear end)

Worst car for me was the old Pred, I had a international and the very first one with the carbon tub, cant remember the name of it. They were fast when they were working! LOL

The new Pred X11 though, top bit of kit now!

easy, the GM TC4, the one with the motor in the middle, if you wanted a smaller pinion you rasied the motor.. and if you wanted it to last 5minutes you had to get almost all the alu stuff for it, making it weigh in at 1800g.

on top of that the diff outdrives was made of delrin without a diff saver. no alu avalible just a steel diff weighing in at 50g.. omg the worst car all catagories.

worst "offroader", my firends rc18 clone, it broke while putting a new battery in.. and touching a dot going out of the pits bent the wishbone pins.

worst tourer
TC4(Tender Care 4 ever) handleing changed in just 2 runs, swerved one way then swerved the other, when it bust something like a front upright you would end up buying the whole front suspension coz you lost most of it.

worst 1/10 buggy 2wd
schumacher cougar 2-no matter what tyres i had on it still oversteered like it was on a castors, until i changed the chassis with a frp deck it was a strange car to drive and those shocks were shi%e leaked everywhere.

4wd would have been my yz10 i had,it was really funny to see a car jump and watch the front wheel and driveshaft fall out still connected to each other leaving the hub still on the car.it drove me to dispair ending my offroad racing in 1994.

Hotshot re-re with an Ansmann Clash 19t motor (£5!!) and a set of 2.2 wheels and schumy minipins. Otherwise completely box stock. I expected it to be "interesting" to drive in a Vintage heat, but wasn't ready for how fantastically crap it really was bearing in mind it hadn't turned a wheel prior to be being dropped on the start line and I hadn't driven one since I was 15 back in 1985. Those bloody rose-tinted specs have a lot to answer for I can tell you. It's the only car I've ever driven that could do dive, squat, bump-steer, understeer, oversteer and griproll all in the same corner . Never again. It got gracefully retired after one meeting.

losi xxx, it was the only losi 2wd i ever bought and it was a dog i hated it!!! i drove it at Craig Harris and my sister at Tiverton national back in 2000ish in anger as it just wouldnt do what i wanted. ( the fence saved them, craigs foot killed the car kicking it at me)

it was also the only car i never won a regional championship or a rrci stock round with.

Built mine, installed mamba max and lipo - drove in a circle in the lounge, applied throttle and did a complete 360 loop. retired without ever racing and for sale soon looks awesome but don't have the space for more display cars.

Thats the year I had one, was okay in the dry... but in slightly damp conditions, it would just understeer like an absolute pig... Thats probably my worst 2wd, but wasnt too bad, thought you won at Swansea in the pi$$ing rain RRC meeting millzy?? year 2001?

Worst car for me was my XK98, the car was an awful build, didn't really go over bumps, and I broke loads of the plastic pivot ball holders (which held the front hub on.. the screws were cack as well). Drove nicely tho, on carpet and smooth grass!
