It's the bloody great bridge that crosses the Thames estury. It's had a toll fee for the last 16 years, but recently went up from £1 to £1.50.

It is free between 10pm and 6pm.

Be aware that if you are coming in a van outside of these hours that it will be more expensive than a car. Cars are £1.50 per crossing...

No access until Saturday morning. Doors open at 7am - no ealrier.

There is plenty of pitting space, with permanent tables and power for each driver. Chairs are provided.

Practice will be in heat order starting at 7.45am.

Hope this answers a few questions...

Just to clarify - is it only your tables we are allowed to use? or if we bring our own can we have a bit more space? Thanks and if we're there on friday night aren't we allowed to come and say hello at the track

Charge Rates

does that mean you'll be checking those using NiMH are charging @ 1C also as per BRCA guidelines which say manufacturers not matchers

BRCA advice

Quote:
2. Never exceed the manufacturers recommended fast charge rate. This should be 1C max., even if the manufacturer states higher. (C being rate of charge based on capacity of the cell, e.g. a 4200 mAh cell = 4.2 amps)
Quote:
Drivers need to recognise that the 'matchers' recommendations are intended to achieve maximum performance. It is the recommendation from the cell manufacturer that should be used.

I'll be using both type of battery over the weekend
