Default DB01 Hop up help

OK guys, just getting back into the Offroad scene and have plunged for a Durga, (dont want to spend a load of cash)

This is a stock kit, so I was wondering what hopups everyone is using.

Cheers

hehe, lots of threads about this and everyone has a different opinion.

I've raced my car quite a bit with the following changes from stock:

501X dampers
Slipper
Front one way
501X rear diff halves (more robust)

I think that's it. I've never had CVD's for my Durga. If you space out the suspension to remove slop - particularly at the rear - then it's not likely to fall apart so you don't need to go buy alloy suspension mounts.

If you keep it along those lines it's a cheap competitive racer - or go all out and spend loads!

I just have the single normal one. One thing that helps is steel or alloy pivot balls on the inner hinge pins. Even though they are in plastic holders the balls wear quickly in bad conditions and get hammered by hard impacts which causes them to squish and add slop which could eventually cause the pins to fall out.

Slipper (single or double)
front CVD's
then depending on what motor you are using

lots of power, get the 501X rear diff halves
if 19t, get shocks first

And I know Jimmy don't have them, but the alloy suspension blocks, 3Racing ones are just as good, make the car mostly bullet proof.

slipper clutch (im using the single clutch)
trf dampers and 3 racing alloy suspension blocks
i would recomend goiing with the 3 racing suspension blocks first then
a slipper follow by the dampers though
