The LRP system will run brushed also, so if you wanted the option of a slower motor whilst you get back into things, I'd suggest perhaps a 19t or maybe a mild mod 12-14t bought second hand very cheaply (maybe £10 -£15). Once your used to things again, pop the brushless in

I use one of those servo's in my B4. You'll have no probs with it - takes a beating and keeps going. Worse case you'll have to replace the gears. I've had mine for a few months now and it's been faultless

Chris, just put the equipment you have into your car and enjoy it.

its going to take you a few meeting to get back into the swing of things, once you have had it on the track you can guage what motor you feel happy with.

I run the 3* in my B4 with the LRP speedo and its great, 4* would be fun, but all you have to do is not push the stick up as far on your radio, it only goes as fast as you tell it.
