Hi Swiss and Lee.
I too bought some of these CF shims and fine products they are. Darren said it was obvious where they went but even with 15 years experience I managed to get it wrong. It is obvious once your are shown how they go but if you lose one before the penny drops (as we so nearly did - that odd shim is the retainer by the way Swiss) it is a big loss.
In my own defence I was trying to fit the shims to a car I had just built so X6 car knowledge was zero on my part.
Regards.

Yep. the extra shim is indeed the retainer to prevent your chosen squat shim from sliding out should anyhting come loose etc. You will all be pleased to know that we are now offering this "shim" as a seperate part too should any one lose or break one. Also bear in mind that "some" combinations of anti squat can be achieved by adding two smaller shims together should lose/misplace any.

The full range of "DMS X Partz" will be hitting the X-Factory UK site (www.xfactoryrc.co.uk) and are already on our shop site too.....

Hi Mat.
It's Andy's. He had one meeting with it and I cant get it back off him. I think he was saying things like "How cool is this car to drive - it stays on line and doesn't do any random stuff!!"
