Well, they are but we all like something different. Peugeot 106's aren't ugly but again we all like different stuff. Remember you can up-engine a 106 dead easy and Mk1's are really nice to drive, we had a 1.1 carb model and it was a peach - went round corners like you wouldn't believe. The trick is not to overdo the tyres, they don't need chav rims as they handle sweetly as stock. Oh yes, they don't rot that much either and (Mk1's again) they are dead simple to fix. That being said I wouldn't touch a Mk2 with a long stick - I think they got contaminated by the Saxo cross breeding thing.

Scrapyard?

OR, long shot this but I've bought stuff like this in the past. Put the word out at your local Vauxhall dealer to let you know if they get an old dear chopping in their 10,000 mile 1.2 Luxe+ against an Agila/Corsa. As I say its a long shot but it may be worth it.
