Tamiya, sorry, they just got the best drivers, although I think Yokomo might have a surprise too...

This is not F1

As you say there are lots of good cars, but its the drivers that make the difference. Unlike F1 the best driver will win regardless of the car he (or she) drives.

So pick a driver, its whichever car sponsor he has that will win

eg. Mr Cragg with his plastic Yoke

Dont forget our British boys, Andy Moore (HB) and young Elliot Harper (XRay) who made the A final at the Euros this year at his 1st attempt.

I'd bet on Rheinard, Moore, Hara or Masami, especially Rheinard and Hara are having a good season. Groskamp doesn't perform that well outside as he does indoor.

I think andy moore or teemu will be up at the sharp end, i bet andy has spent a few hundred hours trackside, like he did in 06

In 06 after the warm up, the car was so good he actually brought the car home and shelved it for the worlds

I reckon XRAY will do very well. I was reading an article in RACER a couple of weeks ago; apparently, they've managed to knock 3 grams of weight by decreasing the front outdrive diameter by 1.7mm.

they've also changed the material used for those parts from spring steel to hawaiian titanium. or something.

all these changes, along with bigger diff balls, are expected to reduce average laptimes by at least .03 of a second

And we moan when we get deformed spikes

Can you imagine the heartache if you realised that your outdrive weight half a gram more than your mates or that you had a japanese and not a hawaiian diff ball, even worse if you buy all this crap and then run wide on the corner

Also, with materials from all over... do you have to plant a tree or too, to off-set the carbon emissions in manufacturing and delivering your said touring car.....
